Follow Friday – Riding The Wave
On Fridays, I share what I believe to be a notable person/organization/school on our social media pages to assist our staff in the development of their online Personal Learning Network.
As we head into Spring Break I want to make sure that Riding the Wave is on your radar because it is a FANTASTIC learning and networking event and a great way to build your ed tech goals in alignment with your plans for the upcoming year. Situated in beautiful Gimli, Manitoba this conference is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and, while this seems surreal to even type, will feature ME as the keynote speaker!!
This is my FIRST-ever keynote event and I couldn’t be more honoured to help Riding The Wave celebrate this milestone event. In addition to the opening keynote on Thursday morning, I will also be facilitating a session on Friday morning titled the “21st Century Classroom”.
The 2024 session list is now available for viewing and I am currently mapping out which sessions to take in. I am hoping to work with some of the local MVSD staff to see if anyone else is attending and I will pick my session attendance around their selections so we can bring back the most amount of information.
