Update 2026: As part of my ongoing commitment to digital citizenship, student privacy, and responsible technology use, I will be making changes to my professional social media channels. Moving forward, I will no longer post identifiable images of students on public platforms.
This decision reflects the changing digital landscape and the increasing importance of protecting students’ privacy and digital footprints. My social media channels will continue to celebrate learning, highlight classroom activities, and share educational resources, but in ways that do not publicly identify students.
This has most likely resulted in broken links, errors to posts on this blog, or formatting inconsistencies resulting from removed media files. Thank you for your understanding and support as I work to model thoughtful and intentional technology practices.

I consider myself to be an “ed tech” enthusiast, a lifelong learner, a digital equity advocate, and a social media explorer. I have been involved in the field of education since 2013, holding classroom and leadership roles locally and provincially. I am a Microsoft Education Trainer as well as a Level 1 Google Certified Educator with over 250 hours of combined professional development on how to assist educators in the use of these tools.
I have completed all the required course work in a pursuit of a Ph.D in the area of educational software evaluation. This work was started at the University of Regina under the supervision of Dr. Alec Couros.
