2020 Presentation Schedule!

     I am so excited to share that the final touches have been put onto my 2020 presentation schedule!  When I left the classroom for my second maternity leave in 2018 I set a goal for myself to get more involved in public speaking as a way to stay connected to the professional-side of my life.  This goal allowed me to work creatively on various ed tech projects and provided an avenue to deepen my understanding.

    After much success through my maternity leave I knew that this something I wanted to continue as I moved into my new position.  While my role at MVSD allows me to present and share with our staff weekly I value opportunities to share in variety of scenarios.  I like presenting because:

– I love what I do and enjoy sharing

– it allows me to deepen my understanding about the topic I’m discussing

– I get to learn from the other presenters who are at the same event

– I get to meet new people whose ideas/experiences are different from my own

– I have a chance to see what other schools/divisions/provinces are doing

     With all that being said, I am happy to report that this upcoming year I will have an opportunity to share and learn at FOUR amazing venues!
