#ETMOOC Lip Dub Completed Project
Last week I posted about the Lip Dub project being completed by the #ETMOOC community and it is now finished! There were three people at our university participating in this part of #ETMOOC so we decided to do a clip together to showcase our university’s group. John Finch: Hot Topic Issues
This week we had the opportunity to have John Finch physically visit our classroom to discuss various issues in educational technology. I found that I am more engaged during a face-to-face visit so I really enjoyed myself. Now don’t get me wrong, I think tools like Skype are amazing for connecting people and removing the distance barrier but I personally still prefer the face-to-face interaction if possible! It is February! That means that I have only ONE MONTH left in my university classes! David Roberston Author Study
This week we are creating author studies in my English Language Arts Methods class and I chose David Roberston. I had previously used David’s work in the Aboriginal Resources Curriculum Portfolio I created with my fiance, so it was nice to revisit his work and learn more! David is an Aboriginal author living and working in Winnipeg, Manitoba so it is awesome to be able to feature material that is locally relevant. #ETMOOC Lip Dub
