The following summarizes some of my thoughts for those asking what my plans are for online options during class suspensions. The following represents my PERSONAL OPINION, not the official recommendations of any organization. While I am a huge proponent of the benefits of tech I strongly argue that there is a vast digital divide in our area that will place undue stress on students & families if it is presented as the only option for programming. Covid-19 Class Suspensions
I know I’ve been absent on here following the announcement of the formal suspension of MB classes due to the global Covid-19 pandemic. For all up-to-date information as to how this affects MVSD families and staff I encourage you to follow our Covid-19 Updates page on our divisional website. For all reputable health updates I encourage you to visit the MB Covid-19 page. A lot of work has been happening behind the scenes & I hope to share and offer detailed support later today.
