Microsoft Series Part 5 – Forms

Microsoft Series Part 5 – Forms

Part five of our Microsoft Series is going to focus on Office 365’s data collection tool: Forms.  Whether it is an informal survey to gather information or a carefully planned out assessment, Forms can get the job done!  Forms offers real-time data collection for you to easily review your results in automated graphs or as an Excel spreadsheet.  Integration of learning tools such as Immersive Reader also allows your students to get question-by-question read-aloud support when needed.

Microsoft Forms: Creating Authentic Assessments Through Microsoft Education
“This introductory course will get you started using Microsoft Forms. With Microsoft Forms, you can create surveys, quizzes, and polls, and easily see results as they come in. When you create a quiz or survey, you can invite others to respond to it using any web browser, even on mobile devices. As results are submitted, you can use built-in analytics to evaluate responses. Form data, such as quiz results, can be easily exported to Excel for additional analysis or grading.”

I use Forms regularly with our staff as a way for them to request a PD session and submit social media links to our divisional data base.  I also will send out Forms to gather staff feedback about new programming from out ICT department.
How do you plan on using Forms in your position?
