On Fridays, I share what I believe to be a notable person/organization/school on our social media pages to assist our staff in the development of their online Personal Learning Network. ManACE is a provincial organization that I have been involved with since 2013 when I was invited to join as a board member. Since that time, I have been involved with a variety of ManACE initiatives, including multiple terms as president. In the 2024/25 school year I am honoured to be advising in the role of past-president and am very excited to see what fun things the group takes on this year! To learn… Read More
AI in EDU: Opportunity and Dilemma
This evening is the ManACE AGM and my last ManACE meeting as president! I will remain on the board in the future in the capacity of past-president but I am thrilled to be welcoming a new senior executive team and celebrating the success our organization had in the 23/24 school year. As part of our AGM, we will be hosting a keynote presentation by Greg Kulowiec titled, “AI in EDU: Opportunity and Dilemma“. This post will serve as my reflection on this learning experience: When internet connected devices were introduced to classrooms, creating powerful 1:1 learning environments, students and educators… Read More
Empowering Educators: Leverging Technology as a Tool for Social Change

Unfortunately, this means that we are missing out on the tremendous potential that digital tools offer for transforming not just education but also the world we live… Read More
