DRCSS Staff Training
One of my favourite aspects of this new position is when I have an opportunity to be back in classrooms working with students and staff. When possible, I try to book sessions with multiple teachers and spend a half-day or full-day at one school. Today was one of such days and I was able to spend time at the DRCSS today working with multiple departments on a variety of tools. Substitute Teaching in "M-Division"
Now that I have started my summer job(s) full time I unfortunately do not have as much availability to substitute teach as I did previously. Thankfully my employer was willing to be flexible with my hours so that I could have every Friday off in order to substitute teach in either “T-Division” or “M-Division”, which are both within driving distance of our home! Summer Holidays & Substitute Teaching!
Friday was not only my last day of student teaching at “C-School” but it was also my last day of university for this year! We finished up our classes and wrote our final exams at the beginning of March so now that our placements are done we do not return to school until the first week of September.
