My LAST Graduating Class

My LAST Graduating Class

On Thursdays I usually use our social media platforms to share using the #ThrowbackThursday trend where users participate by sharing a memory (recent or distant). These posts don’t usually make it to the blog but this Thursday is a very important memory as tomorrow, June 24th, my LAST class from Ste. Rose will walk across the stage for their Grade 12 graduation!

When I was in the classroom I got to work with students from Grade 7-12 depending on the school year and when I left on my maternity leave in 2018 I had the most amazing Grade 8 homeroom class. Now, in a blink of an eye, they are graduating and all of my former students will be out of the K-12 school system. Times like this makes me even more thankful that I’ve used digital tools to document my teaching experiences as I was able to look back this week on some of our memories from when they were in Grade 8!

Congratulations to all of the graduates! There is a parade scheduled tomorrow that I am looking forward to attending and I can’t wait to see all of the wonderful things this group accomplishes in the future.

I'd love to hear your thoughts; please leave a comment!
