Follow Friday – BYTE Conference
Every Friday I share what I believe to be a notable person/organization/school on our social media pages to assist our staff in the development of their online Personal Learning Network.
Being that it is the 3rd Friday in February it can only mean one thing…. it is time for the BYTE Conference! This conference holds a special place in my heart as it was not only the first large ed conference that I attended as a B.Ed student but it was also the start of my presentation experience. Since that time I have been able to attend 6 of the conferences (5 years as a presenter). You can read about some of my past BYTE experiences by clicking here.
BYTE is active on both Twitter and Instagram and BYTE tweeps always do a good job on continuing the conversation through the #bytemb hashtag on Twitter. If you aren’t able to make it to today’s conference I recommend connecting through those links!
I will be presenting four sessions today on two topics, check it out below!
Blended Learning 101
“In the age of Covid-19, schools across the world have been tasked with reimagining how education is delivered to students. Blended Learning is mentioned as a strategy to address the restrictions placed upon us by Covid-19, but what exactly is Blended Learning? How can it be implemented and where do you start? Participants will leave with an understanding of the various models of Blended Learning, checklist of access considerations and strategies for implementation.”
