#WOWWednesday
Every Wednesday I highlight some of our amazing MVSD staff on our social media pages. Everyday our staff are using tech in new and exciting ways, are learning new skills, and are sharing ways in which ed tech is assisting them in their practice.
This week I’d like to highlight Sharon who teaches at Mackenzie Middle School in Dauphin. Sharon has been an integrator of ed tech long before Covid-19 including the use of MS Teams and classroom social media accounts on both Instagram and Facebook. She also had all of her Gr 8 homeroom class participate in Office 365 training with myself in the fall and was a regular user of the Microsoft learning tools: Immersive Reader and Dictate. You can also check out her community spirit in our MVSD LipDub video as she was one of the many MMS staff who participated!

Since the suspension of classes Sharon has continued to utilize her pre-established learning platforms for content delivery, online lessons, and communication with students/families. She has also added in new tools such as the use of Microsoft Whiteboard for instruction and Nearpod; both of which can be accessed through your Office 365 login. Way to go Sharon!
