March Currently

March Currently

Guess what!? March marks the month where I am officially DONE my classes at university. I am looking forward to getting back into the classroom for student teaching and then applying for teaching positions, yay! I just can’t believe that after six years I am finally at a place where I can be applying for a job that will actually turn into my career. After six years, my fiance and I are no longer moving back and forth between university and our home. After six years we can now begin the rest of our lives!

If you haven’t encountered a “Currently” post before, it is just a fun post at the beginning of each month that serves as a way to share what is Currently going on in your life! You can link up and share your own “Currently” post by visiting the wonderful Farley over at Oh’ Boy 4th Grade.

    1. Haha I said March is the month where I am finished, I didn't say I was done right this second 🙂

  4. I finished student teaching last May and am in the last semester of being a first year teacher! Teaching is so exciting to me! I love my time in the classroom! Hooray for being "done." I'm also looking for a job! I moved away from my family and friends and cannot pay my bills where I moved to! So we are moving back 300+ miles to where we own a house in a community my children love. I hope your search goes well! 🙂

    1. Congratulations on making it through your first year Carrie! I can't wait to be where you are and have my own classroom. I hope you are able to find a job back in your original community. Your first year sounds like an adventure but I'm sure it was full of great memories and experiences.
Best of luck with everything, I'm crossing my fingers for both of us 🙂

  5. Congrats on finishing up your classes this month and good luck with your student teaching!

  6. Congratulations, Kirsten! Best wishes on your job search!

    1. Thank you so much Nancy! I hope certification is going well and not too busy for you, I am inspired every time I see new posts from all the teachers involved.

  7. Thanks Hilary! It is definitely a relief to be moving from a student role into the teacher role. Although, I guess teachers are life long students anyway! Thank you for visiting 🙂

I'd love to hear your thoughts; please leave a comment!
